New Tipping option
We are always looking for better ways to serve our family of customers, suppliers, and logistics providers. In an effort to do this, we are testing a new tipping feature on our mobile and desktop experience
Why Add a Tip?
An amazing grocery delivery experience wouldn’t be possible without the couriers who deliver your order. Tipping is entirely optional and an easy way to share gratitude with our delivery partners.
Are tips required?
Tipping is completely optional and you’ll have the option to skip at checkout. If you choose to leave a tip, the entire tip goes to your courier. Information about your tip, such as the amount and who has issued it, isn't shared.
Is a tip separate from other fees?
Yes, tips are separate from other fees. Tips are a great way to thank couriers separately from service, tax, and delivery charges. Tips are always an addition to base rates paid to our delivery partners. Additional information on Good Eggs fees can be found here.
Who can tip through the mobile app or web?
During the pilot period, the tipping feature will be available on all web browsers and iOS. The tipping feature will not be available to Android users during the pilot.
In addition, credit cards are the default payment method for tipping during the pilot phase. Apple Pay users will not be eligible at this time.
How does Good Eggs pay its drivers?
Good Eggs leverages a network of trusted couriers and delivery partners to deliver groceries to your door. Good Eggs is committed to working with trusted providers, and provides its delivery partners transparent delivery and tip garnishment information for its partners to ensure its drivers are paid accordingly.
Can I adjust my tip after checkout?
At this time, tips can only be selected at the point of checkout. Post checkout tipping will be made available at a later date.
What happens if I have a poor delivery experience?
Mistakes can happen. When you receive a refund due to a poor customer experience or other reasons, your tip will be refunded with the full transaction.
